We are delighted to share further details about the support being offered by the BSN to assist with your attendance at the International Congress of Neuroendocrinology (ICN) 2026 in Nagoya, Japan.

With the extension of the abstract submission deadline for ICN2026 to 10 February 2026, we have also extended our ICN2026 travel grant deadline to match.

The BSN ICN 2026 travel grant covers:

  • Up to £1,000 to support travel and accommodation costs.

  • You must be presenting your own research at the conference (oral or poster).
  • The travel grant may be used for travel and accommodation only (subsistence costs are not eligible).

This funding opportunity is open to all current BSN members who meet the eligibility criteria.

Apply for the ICN2026 Travel Grant by 10 February 2026: www.neuroendo.org.uk/grants

Important note: Registering for ICN2026

The BSN will cover the full cost of Early Bird registration and the abstract submission fee for all fully paid-up members regardless of whether you have applied for the International Congress of Neuroendocrinology Travel Grant.

Members are required to complete the conference registration process themselves. When registering, please ensure you select the option indicating that you are a BSN member. If this is not selected, the BSN will be unable to cover the cost of your registration. Once all required details have been entered, you will be taken to a "Payment" page. Please do not make any payment for your Early Bird Registration.

Register: https://www.congre.co.jp/icn2026/registration/register/index.html

Important note: Abstract Submission Fee

The BSN will cover the cost of abstract submission fees for its members. If you plan to submit more than one abstract, you must be the lead author and presenting at the meeting. Again, please do not make payment for this fee.

Submit your abstract: https://www.congre.co.jp/icn2026/abstract/cfa/index.html

Additional Options: Gala dinner, satellite meetings etc.

Please note that the BSN will not cover the cost of the Gala Dinner or any satellite meetings (for example, Kisspeptin 2026). Members wishing to attend these events will need to pay for them personally during the registration process. Please be aware that the BSN is unable to cover any registration costs made after the Early Bird deadline, so we strongly encourage you to register in good time.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact bsnsupport@neuroendo.org.uk. We recognise that for many of our members Japan is a long distance to travel and we have created this grant as part of our vision to support the neuroendocrine scientific community to improve science, knowledge and health for the public benefit.

Kind regards,

The BSN Committee
