In memoriam Professor Bob Millar 1944-2026
The British Society for Neuroendocrinology (BSN) Committee regrets to inform members that Professor Bob Millar has passed away. We understand his death was unexpected. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family and to his many friends and colleagues in the neuroendocrine world. Bob was a towering figure in our community for many years and his contributions to the BSN, the International Neuroendocrine Federation (INF) and to neuroendocrinology more widely were immense. In particular, we need to note his essential contribution to setting up the Translational and Clinical Neuroendocrinology strand in JNE. The BSN and Journal of Neuroendocrinology will publish a fuller appreciation of his life in due course.
